1. Prepare Your Hair: Begin with clean, fully dry and completely detangled hair. Apply a heat-protectant product evenly, allow it to dry, and avoid heavy oils or wet styling sprays immediately before heat.

2. Divide Into Sections: Separate the hair into manageable layers with clips. Keep each working section small enough to move freely through the styling area; overloaded sections heat unevenly and are more likely to snag.

3. Set Up the Tool: Place the tool on a heat-resistant mat, confirm the voltage on your unit and select a low heat level. Allow the ceramic area to warm while keeping the air openings uncovered.
